Jessie Franchebois

My yoga journey began in 2014 as a creative outlet and grew into a practice of self-compassion and mindfulness. It became a journey of self-discovery, to quiet the chatter of the mind, and to find more ease.

Yoga has shaped my path and offered boundless benefits to my life on and off of the mat. For this reason, I knew that I wanted to share the benefits of yoga with others. I received my 200-hour RYTT from Practice Yoga Austin during the COVID pandemic in 2020, and Iā€™m currently continuing my education, working toward my 300-hour RYTT certification.

My training and teachings are focused in Alignment-based Vinyasa yoga, an evolution of Anusara rooted in the principles of Iyengar. I have 50 hours of Ayurveda training, and I incorporate Ayurvedic principles to asana, especially during seasonal changes. My goal is to offer a space for community where students feel connected to their bodies in mindful, loving ways and leave class feeling lighter.
