In uncertain and turbulent times, it’s more important than ever to find moments of stillness, clarity, and grounding.
This workshop offers a deeply restorative sequence developed by BKS Iyengar to relax the body, quiet the brain, and soothe the emotional center of the heart. Through carefully supported asanas, we’ll calm the nervous system, cool the brain, and bring balance between the intelligence of the head and the intelligence of the heart. These poses are designed to bring inner quiet, support positive thinking, and create space for total relaxation and emotional steadiness. All levels are welcome. Props and modifications will be provided to ensure a safe, supported, and deeply nourishing experience. Co-hosted by Valerie Velardi and Nicole Leong, Valerie and Nicole have been co-creating and co-teaching classes since 2022.
